Andrea Anders

Anders was originally born in Madison and was raised in DeForest. However, she is currently living with her family in Los Angeles. She graduated from DeForest Area High School in DeForest, Wisconsin in 1993; and received a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens point in 1997. Rutgers University awarded her a Master's in Fine Arts degree in 2001. Anders had a romance with Matt LeBlanc (whom she met during the filming of Joey), her ex-costar of the show that was cancelled. Sean Anders, director of Sex Drive and Never Been Thawed (anders.com), is her older brother. Anders Her career path began with the stage in 2001. In the Broadway production Proof, she was Mary Louise Parker's Understudy. In the following production, The Graduate, Anders played Elaine Robinson. Apart from On the Jump, New Doors which was staged at the Guthrie Theater and New World Rhapsody, she was also on the Arena Stage in On the Jump, New Doors, at the Guthrie Theater. In May 2007 Anders began her role as a character in the Geffen Playhouse performance of Fat Pig. She played the part of Jeannie the accountant. Fat Pig closed on July 1st, 2007. Anders had her first TV appearance in the Dannon commercial, which ran from the 1990s until 2006. Anders is a member of Joey in the roles of Alex Garrett the lawyer and The Class (nee Campbell) as Nicole Allen - an ex footballer's wife. Even though she appeared in the two shows, they both were ended up being cancelled. Anders made an appearance as an guest on One Life to Live. Law & Order. The Guiding Light. And Tru Calling. Anders was featured five times on an episode of HBO's Oz drama in 2003. She appeared as Heather Degenhart as well as Brandy In The Stepford Wives. Anders was also a guest in the show Numb3rs in 2008. Anders also appeared on two TV pilots which did not succeed. These included Spellbound and News To Me. Anders has been cast most recently for Better Off Ted. It is an ABC single-camera comedy about a work environment created by Victor Fresco.
