The daughter of Stanley Willard Henson, Jr, a physician as well as Thelma Burnell Henson, Michele Carey whose birth name is Michele Lee Henson was born on February 26, 1942, at Annapolis, Maryland in the United States of America. While still a teenager she excelled at playing the piano. When she was only 13 years old she took home an international prize at the Chicago Music Festival. The family moved to Fort Collins in Colorado, and she finished her high school education in Fort Collins High School in 1960. Then she moved in Los Angeles in order to explore better opportunities in her career. The first time she began modeling started when she signed with the Powers agency. Her passion was for acting and had caught the interest of Hollywood producers at a time she was still modeling. Her debut was in The Man of U.N.C.L.E. which was a TV series. Michele who turned out to be one of the most famous American entertainers first had a career as a model and was employed by the Powers agency before eventually venturing into acting, in 1964, in the show The Man from U.N.C.L.E. The film of 1966 El Dorado as a main role for Josephine Joey MacDonald brought her into the spotlight. The roles she played in the 1970s and 1960s made her a notable actress.
